The Wellington Newborn Life Support Instructor Team unfortunately was unable to join us in Christchurch at NZ Resus 2026 - so we welcomed Darcy (pictured left) on behalf of his team to meet with the council team and our Chief Executive Kevin Nation (pictured right) to present the award.

The Wellington Hospital NLS Instructor Team was awarded for their dedication and a shared commitment to delivering high-quality education.

The team consistently demonstrates a clear understanding and effective application of the NLS curriculum, supporting excellent learning outcomes across all courses delivered. They also maintain a high standard of course administration, with all required paperwork completed accurately and returned within the expected timeframes, contributing to the smooth and efficient delivery of programmes.

Importantly, the Wellington Hospital NLS Instructors are regularly recognised through outstanding positive feedback, highlighting their professionalism, expertise, and the meaningful impact they have on learners and colleagues alike.

Through their collaboration, consistency, and commitment to excellence, the team exemplifies best practice in neonatal education and is highly deserving of this award.
